Day 1 Arrival in Chongqing

Three Bridges, Longshuixia Fissure

Be picked up at a hotel in Chongqing then enjoy 3-hour scenic drive to Wulong Karst National Geology Park, the largest and highest beaded natural bridge group in the world. You can stand on the 280-meter transparent glass platform to enjoy the thrilling yet amazing sky hole underneath and surrounding high mountains. Later, go to the Three Bridges which are shaped by stone naturally. You have the option to the take elevator or hike down to the sky hole to visit bridges, along the way, appreciate the spectacular cliffs, unique stones, beautiful ponds etc, experience the power of nature! Besides, it’s quite surprising for travelers to view the shooting place of Transformers 4. After enjoying delicious lunch then take the shuttle bus to Longshuixia Fissure. It is shaped by orogeny millions of years ago, enter the fissure, you will see the precipitous cliffs, verdant forest, beautiful waterfalls running from the mountain. After visiting, be transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast, head to Furong Cave. It is regarded as an underground art palace where you will enjoy different shapes of stalactites. Later, drive to Fairy Maiden Mountain, take the little train to fully enjoy the vast green grassland where some horses dotting on it. Here you can take grass skiing in summer and snow skiing in winter. No matter when you come here, you will view the enchanting scenery. After lunch, be transferred to a hotel in Chongqing.

　　There are many kinds of hot pot materials,the dishes develop to hundreds of species,including all edible things of the food kingdom.The dishes have been expanded to poultry, aquatic products, seafood, animal viscus, all kinds of vegetables,mushroom and so on.People gather around a small pot filled with flavorful and nutritious soup base. Yes everything was spectacular and fascinating very professional and prompt services. There were beautiful places to explore and to see in the 4 hours that we had. The comfort and beauty of the China was incredible, The history, culture and way of life of the local people we bumped into during the layover was beyond our expectations. Hiking on the Great wall after driving through a small remote countryside was very relaxing and rejuvenating. It was the best trip ever to experience on a few hours.

We had not previously used a travel agency for touring. The crew including the driver and tour guide were really funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Despite having limited time we still had free time allowing for shopping and grabbing a meal and drinks. Highly recommend this layover in Beijing.

Well worth it! Jenny was really nice and incredibly helpful with the immigration process after airport personnel originally escorted to the wrong area and didn’t want to allow leaving the airport. She takes great photos! Beautiful views and fun to take the toboggan down. Wasn’t too crowded on this day - and definitely worth doing with a 7 hour layover. Nice car and driver too.
