Shangxiajiu is one of the most prosperous areas in the old city. The pedestrian street is about 1,218 meters long. The existing main architectures are Qilou, mostly built in the Qing Dynasty. On this street lie more than 200 stores, especially those brand name restaurants and teahouses open here. Visitors from Shangxiajiu can experience the traditional Cantonese architecture Qilou and experience the snacks while walking along the street. Be sure to go to Shangxia Jiu Lu, even if you don't buy anything.
