Day 1 Arrival in Guiyang

Welcome to colorful Guizhou province. Your friendly tour guide and driver will pick you up at the railway station or airport in Guiyang then escort you back to hotel.
Recommend activity: Wander around Qianling Park where you can stretch your legs and enjoy the beautiful landscape, worship at Hongfu Temple and watch naughty monkeys. On the top of the mountain, you will have a panoramic view of the whole Guiyang city. Later head to elegant Jiaxiu Tower, the symbol of Guiyang with a history of more than 400 years. Climb to the top, the scenery of the Nanming River is quite beautiful. In the evening, the neon lights decorated the tower and the city, looks magnificent!

Day 2 Guiyang-Anshun-Guiyang by Private Vehicle
Huangguoshu Waterfall
In the morning, drive around 2 hours to Huangguoshu Waterfall. Entering inside, take the sightseeing bus to Tianxiqiao Scenic Spot, regarded as the Karst floating stone forest. Along the way, you’ll enjoy the enchanting lakes, caves, floating stone forest, elegant stone bridges. Take some pictures at the beautiful Silver Pendant Waterfall. After enjoying delicious lunch at a local restaurant, take the sightseeing bus to Huangguoshu Waterfall, the only waterfall that can be viewed from multiple angles. When the water is sufficient, it is like a huge sky curtain pulled up on a cliff, with tons of white water falling from the sky. At last, pay a short visit to the shooting place of Journey to the West-Doupotang Waterfall. Drive back to hotel after visiting.
Kindly Note: The best travel time to Huanggushu Waterfall is from June to October.

Day 3 Guiyang-Libo County by Private Vehicle
Libo Daxiao Hole Scenic Spot
Check out from the hotel and head to Libo Daxiao Hole Scenic Spot(3.5hrs), the famous UNESCO World Heritage where consist beautiful mountains, lakes, caves, forest and waterfalls. In the gorge, the waterfalls run fast and looks like silver water curtain, so magnificent and breathtaking. Besides, you get the chance to have close contact with local Buyi ethnic groups by visiting the traditional Diaojiaolou buildings, enjoy their elegant cloth and silver jewellery. The meal will be served at a local restaurant. Continue the trip to the ancient seven holes bridge, built in Qing dynasty and served as an important bridge between Libo county and Guangxi province in ancient time. Although it looks fragile, it has survived floods for hundreds of years. Later, you will discover many precious trees and plants there, some plants even root in the stone in the water. It looks like a floating forest if you look from a distance. The tour ends from sending you back to a local hotel and have a good rest.

Day 4 Libo County-Kaili by Private Vehicle
Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, Long Table Banquet
Check out from the hotel and drive to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village(2.5hrs), the largest Miao village in China. When entering inside, you’ll be warmly welcomed by twelve toast offered by local women and reed-pipe wind instrument music blown by men. Continue to explore Xijiang Miao Ethnic Museum, get comprehensive knowledge from its history and culture, singing and dancing, traditional architecture, costumes and silver ornament etc. In noon, enjoy famous Long Table Banquet and the lively singing and dancing performance, or you can even try their local costumes at your own cost and take some beautiful pictures. At last, you will experience the traditional Miao batik at a workshop, drawing the beautiful patterns on the cloth and learn Miao’s culture. At last, check in a hotel at Xijiang. The rest of the day is free for you. In the evening, walk in the splendid village decorated with yellow neon light, the bridge and traditional Diaojiaolou look so amazing, don’t forget to take some pictures there.

Day 5 Kaili-Zhenyuan County by Private Vehicle
Zhenyuan Ancient Town
In the morning, continue your wonderful Guizhou tour to Zhenyuan Ancient Town(2hrs) with a history for more than 2200 years, which is the most historic city in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. Upon arrival, walk along the ancient street planked with restaurants, stores and various tasty snack food. The Wuyang river passes through the old town and curves like letter S, forming an Eight Diagrams(a set of symbolic signs created in ancient China), hence Zhenyuan Old Town also called Eight Diagrams Old Town. Walk along the ancient Zhusheng Bridge on the Wuyang river and enjoy the elegant pavilion with curving angles. After enjoying delicious local lunch, hike to the Jade Screen Mountain and have a bird’s view of the whole town and Wuyang river. Afterward, visit the Black Dragon Cave which is built in the precipitous cliffs, explore the combination of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism in the temple, appreciate the magnificent pavilions, green mountain, ancient trees and cliff and caves along the way, you’ll marvel at this eye-popping historical site, which even regarded as one of the aerial architectural complexes with Maiji Mountain Grottoes in Tianshui and Hanging Temple in Datong. Check in the local hotel and the rest of the day is free for you! In the evening, don’t miss the beautiful night view, which is another highlight at the Zhenyuan Ancient Town!

Get up early today and drive around 2.5 hours to Mount Fanjing. It was listed as World Natural Heritage Site in 2018 and even nominated as one of travel destination by National Geography in 2019. Start your exciting trip and explore the Mount Fanjing-The City of Sky. Upon arrival, take the sightseeing bus then take the cable car up to the Wanbaoyao, broaden your view and enjoy the well-preserved original forest, sometimes you might feel like you are in the heaven surrounding with cloud and fog. Walk to Mushroom Stone which is a towering weathered stone, small in the bottom but layered on big stone on the top, it looks like fragile stone but it actually remains firm for a billion year, what a surreal stone in the world! After enjoying the packed lunch then continue to hike to the Red Cloud Golden Summit, the peak spouts out from the ground vertically, but divides into two parts on the top which connecting by a stone bridge. Grasp armrest and hike to the top steadily, enjoy the breathtaking view along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll be astonished by the beauty of this place, floating clouds, warm sunshine and sacred Buddhist temples. After visiting, take the cable car down and return to hotel at Tongren city(1.5hrs).
