Day 1 Harbin

Guide and driver will meet you at the airport or railway and take you to the hotel to check-in. After freshen up, start visiting the majestic Church of St. Sophia which is now a museum of arts containing photography from the early 20th century then move to Central Street to get feel of the Russian influence. Later in the evening head to the renowned Zhaolin Park, a dreamlike paradise for watching ice lantern shows. Tour ends by sending you back the hotel.

Sun Island Park, Harbin Polarland, Siberian Tiger Park, Ice and Snow World

Driver and guide pick you up from hotel in the morning. Head to Sun Island Park where displays a world-famous snow sculpture show: International Snow Sculpture Art Expo. Then visit the Harbin Polarland, the first polar land themed park with animal shows. After that visit the Siberian Tiger Park with the world's largest tiger breeding base used to protect the endangered species.

Finally, enjoy the Harbin Ice Festival at the Ice and Snow World where you can wander around the gorgeous ice structures and watch the magnificent scene when the structures light up in crimson, sapphire and lime green as the night falls. Yes everything was spectacular and fascinating very professional and prompt services. There were beautiful places to explore and to see in the 4 hours that we had. The comfort and beauty of the China was incredible, The history, culture and way of life of the local people we bumped into during the layover was beyond our expectations. Hiking on the Great wall after driving through a small remote countryside was very relaxing and rejuvenating. It was the best trip ever to experience on a few hours.

We had not previously used a travel agency for touring. The crew including the driver and tour guide were really funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Despite having limited time we still had free time allowing for shopping and grabbing a meal and drinks. Highly recommend this layover in Beijing.

Well worth it! Jenny was really nice and incredibly helpful with the immigration process after airport personnel originally escorted to the wrong area and didn’t want to allow leaving the airport.
