The site for “The Impression of Lijiang” also were entitle as the National cultural industry demonstration base.
　　Lijiang is an important town for Western Yunnan Ancient Tea Route. Ancient Tea Route which lies at Chinese southwest is a non-governmental international trade route and the main corridor of economic and business exchange of Chinese southwestern.? The main vehicle travelling on the route is caravan. Ancient Tea route is divided into two lines: Sichuan-Tibet Route and Tibet-Yunnan Route. Ancient Tea rout originated from the tea and horse market of ancient south-western frontier, thriving in Tang and Song, prevailing in Ming and Qing Dynasty and at the end of WII reach the peak. The caravan on the ancient tea route had a deep influence on the local resident “Naxi”. For Naxi man, it is an honor for joining the caravan and being the “head of Caravan”. “The Horse Saddle Dance” really shows fully the masculinity of Naxi men.
　　In Naxi’s culture, women are fully responsible for house chores, farming, and giving birth of children. In Naxi culture, Naxi women are even ashamed of men doing-house chores. In the mind of Naxi women, men with the best-education, top-communication skills and big achievement are the real honor for the family. For the reason above, “Basket Dance” shows fully feminism of Naxi women-Naxi women are willing to devote all their life to be the mother and wife of Naxi men.
　　Horse in Yunnan are all short-leg. The short-leg horse runs not fast, but good at mountain-climbing. Only short-legged horses are able to climb up and down one-inch wide and 12-tier-deep mountain terrace in the ancient tea route. For this reason, Naxi people honor horse a lot. In the show, the men in the caravan shake hands to you and the magnificent scene reminds us hundreds of years ago, in the ancient tea route, the caravan stroll the rout back and forth with loud horse-bell sound.

Yes everything was spectacular and fascinating very professional and prompt services. There were beautiful places to explore and to see in the 4 hours that we had. The comfort and beauty of the China was incredible, The history, culture and way of life of the local people we bumped into during the layover was beyond our expectations. Hiking on the Great wall after driving through a small remote countryside was very relaxing and rejuvenating. It was the best trip ever to experience on a few hours.

We had not previously used a travel agency for touring. The crew including the driver and tour guide were really funny, friendly and knowledgeable. Despite having limited time we still had free time allowing for shopping and grabbing a meal and drinks. Highly recommend this layover in Beijing.

Well worth it! Jenny was really nice and incredibly helpful with the immigration process after airport personnel originally escorted to the wrong area and didn’t want to allow leaving the airport. She takes great photos! Beautiful views and fun to take the toboggan down. Wasn’t too crowded on this day - and definitely worth doing with a 7 hour layover. Nice car and driver too.

I used China tour company to visit Hangzhou on on feb 7th. It’s a private tour. The experience is very pleasant and enjoyable. Tour guide Mr. Mark Zhou was very good. He speaks good English and very patient. He knows his stuff. I visited West Lake , Buddhist temple and the Pagoda.
