Shaoshan Tourist Attractions

1)Mao Zedong Former Residence & Mao Zedong Memorial Hall

Chairman Mao, the founder of the People's Republic of China, lived in Shaoshan. We can visit his dormitory where collected his memento, which memorize the great achievements he's made. Besides, you will learn historic knowledge about War of Resistance Against Japan and Civil War. We don't advise come here on important national festival since national leaders might come and the scenic spot might close.

2) Dishuidong

Its natural beauty in harmony with cultural spirit attract hundreds of visitors. The spring drops endlessly, so it got name Dishuidong, but it's not a cave.

It has been honored as pearl of landscape and western cave of Hunan province. Chairman Mao had worked here for arranging state affairs.
