Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport
Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) serves domestic and international flights. It is about 27 kilometers away from downtown Hangzhou. From the airport to the urban area, it mainly relies on airport bus and taxi. A taxi to or from the airport from the city centre is around ¥100 in 30 minutes or 1 hour.Xiaoshan Airport has abundant airport bus routes, not only to downtown Hangzhou, but also to neighboring cities such as Shaoxing, Suzhou, Yiwu and Jinhua. Take the bus to the city center of Hangzhou about 1 hour.Airport Bus Waiting Room: No.14 of Airport Arrival Hall.
Hangzhou Railway Station
Hangzhou Railway Station is also called "Chengzhan Station (City Station)" by the local people. Most of the trains departing from and terminating their routes in Hangzhou will stop there. It only takes 10 minutes to get to West Lake by taxi. So it’s the first choice for tourists.
Hangzhou Metro
By now, only line 1, line 2, and line 4 of Hangzhou metro are operational. The fare ranges CNY2-8 for different trips.
Hangzhou Taxi
Hangzhou is divided into ordinary taxis (blue) and electric taxis (yellow).Fares: In the city, the initial general taxi price is 11 RMB for the first 3 kilometers and 2.5 RMB per kilometer after that until 10 kilometers; and then 2.4 RMB for each kilometer past 10 kilometers, more than 10 kilometers needs 50% of the return subsidy fee.Notes: Hangzhou taxi is more difficult to hit, especially at 17 or 18 o'clock shift time, the driver can refuse to carry.Don't trust when the driver give you a cheaper price, because in most cases, there is content behind the bargain price.
