Datong Yungang Airport, located in the east of Datong City, is about 17 kilometers from the city center and covers an area of 2851 acres. The airport put operation in January 2006 with 3,000 meters long runway 60 meters wide. It can take off and land the B737-800 and A321 consisting of T1 International and T2 domestic two terminals.
There is a free shuttle bus from several hotels in town.finally stops at the Datong hotel . You can take the bus back to the airport from there until 5:30pm.
