Wuzhou Wutaishan Airport is about 125 kilometers away from the scenic spot of Wutai Mountain and officially opened on December 25, 2015 .Now it is the sixth civil aviation airport in Shanxi Province after Taiyuan, Changzhi, Yuncheng, Datong and Luliang. As of April 29, 2017, Wuzhoushan Airport has opened major routes linking to Shanghai, Tianjin, Haikou, Guilin, Chongqing, Yinchuan, Lanzhou, Jinan, Xiamen and Nanjing.
